OLE DISTRIBUTION TO ASSUME BASIC CHANNEL DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS IN SPANISH-SPEAKING LATIN AMERICA

May 4, 2020. Ole Distribution, a joint venture between Ole Communications and WarnerMedia, is assuming the basic channel distribution business in Spanish-speaking Latin America formerly operated by HBO Ole Distribution, an HBO Latin America Group company.

Helmed by former Turner Latin America President Juan Carlos Urdaneta, the new company will distribute A&E, AXN, E!, History, History2, IVC, Lifetime, Sony, Studio Universal, SyFy, Telemundo Internacional (excluding Mexico), Universal TV, and Warner Channel throughout all of Latin America.
Urdaneta, in the role of President, will lead a team of well-known industry veterans, including former Fox executive Fernando Iturriaga as Executive Vice President of Sales and Business Development, former Ole Communications, AMC and Discovery executive Gustavo Lopez as Chief Operating Officer and former Sony executive Russell Kline as Senior Vice President of Finance.
